Bedford Man Suffers Serious Injuries After Crashing Motorcycle

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man suffered serious injuries after he crashed his motorcycle on Vinegar Hill Road Wednesday night.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 60-year-old Dale Anderson, of 1212 H St., was traveling westbound in the 2400 block of Vinegar Hill Road when lost control of his 2014 Honda and went off the roadway.

Anderson, who was wearing a helmet, suffered fractures and a possible punctured lung. He was flown by helicopter to Methodist Hospital for treatment.

Assisting at the scene were Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department, Bedford Fire Department, Air Evac and an IU Health Hospital ambulance responded.
