(DUBOIS CO.) - Indiana Conservation officers are investigating a fatal ATV accident that occurred near Holland around 2:30p.m. Sunday afternoon.

14-year-old William Conner Hall of Huntingburg was pronounced dead by the Dubois County Coroner's Office after being transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Hall, who was driving one of the ATVs, struck the front of a tractor/loader, traveling south on County Road 850 West, driven by Mike Hillsmey, also of Huntingburg.

Despite efforts at the scene and hospital to resuscitate Hall their efforts failed.

A juvenile passenger on Hall's ATV received non-life threatening injuries.
