Woman Improving Following Injuries Suffered In Brownstown Fire

(BROWNSTOWN) - A 39-year-old Brownstown woman burned in a fire early Sunday has begun her recovery at an Indianapolis hospital.

Jill Warnock was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis after she was injured in the fire reported at 12:39 a.m. Sunday at a home at 500 West Spring Street.

She is listed in stable condition.

The cause of that fire remains under investigation. The fire that destroyed the 1,912-square-foot, one-and-a-half story wood rental home owned by Hershel Forgey.
