(HAYESVILLE) - Indiana Department of Transportation will close U.S. 231 in Martin County for a couple of days to replace a drainage pipe under the highway approximately 3.5 miles north of the S.R. 56 junction in Haysville.

Weather permitting, U.S. 231 will be closed beginning at 8 a.m. Monday.

Local traffic will have access up to the work zone where all lanes will be closed and no through traffic will be allowed. The detour for heavy highway traffic follows S.R. 56, I-69 and U.S. 50/150.
