Two Arrested After Police Find Meth, Marijuana And Prescription Drugs

(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Emergency Response Team and officers with the Drug Task Force and uniform officers went to 1948 Tunnelton Road last night armed with a search warrant.

There officers arrested 47-year-old Rhea Wilson and charged her with two counts of dealing meth, possession of marijuana under 30 grams, five counts of possession of meth and two counts of maintaining a common nuisance.

Also arrested at the home was 48-year-old William Hughes of Bloomington. He is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of meth, visiting a common nuisance.

According to Sheriff Sam Craig officers went to the home just after 10 p.m.

"During their search officers recovered meth that was packaged for sale," Craig added. "They also found marijuana, cash, other meth and marijuana paraphernalia and several prescription drugs."
