(BEDFORD)- Six people were injured Saturday afternoon after an accident on Mitchell Road, south of T Street, Saturday afternoon.

According to a Bedford Police report, 35-year-old Timothy Childres, of 1707 15th St., was traveling north on Mitchell Road in a 1997 Ford F250.

He told police he remembered coughing when he was at Sandpit Road, but that he passed out and didn't remember anything about the accident.

According to police, the vehicle struck a rock cut on the east side of the road and then continued north coming to a stop facing north on the east side of the highway.

Police say Childres illness was a contributing factor to the crash.

Childers complained of pain throughout his body.

A female passenger, whose name was not included in the report, complained of pain. Four passengers, all juveniles whose names were not listed, were taken by Seals Ambulance Service to Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
