(CRANE) - Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division will be hosting the inaugural Invention and Technology Showcase on Wednesday at WestGate Academy and Training Center from 1 p.m. till 3:30 p.m. with a pre-social at Noon.

This event will bring together inventors and community partners to highlight innovation and the exchange of ideas between Crane and its network of partnerships.

State of Indiana Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann will be featured as the keynote speaker and address the value and opportunities associated with innovation and the role it plays in Indiana's future.

After the event, guests and inventors will have additional opportunities to continue discussions and to network.
