(BEDFORD) - There has been a challenge issued against Mitchell School Board candidate Dee Hupp-Sanders.
According to Lawrence County Clerk Myron Rainey, the residence challenge claims Sanders has not lived in the Mitchell District II school district for one year prior to filing her candidacy.
The Lawrence County Election Board will have a candidate challenge hearing in public in the Voter Registration office in the lower level of the courthouse on Thursday at 2 p.m.
