(BRYANTSVILLE) - A West Harrison man was arrested Thursday night after police were called to a domestic fight in the 1100 block of Bryantsville Road.

Police arrested 26-year-old Arnold Lynn on charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and domestic battery in the presence of a minor and battery in the presence of a minor.

Lawrence County officers and a Mitchell police officer went to the home at 6:24 p.m. after a report that Lynn had threatened to shoot two women, along with the family dog.

When officers arrived they found that one woman had been hit in the face when she tried to break up a fight between Lynn and another woman.

According to a police report, the other woman suffered injuries to her upper chest, arm, back and shoulders and a large bump to the back of her head.

First responders from the Huron Volunteer Fire Department and a Seals ambulance crew were called to treat the two women.

Lawrence County Chief Deputy Mike Branham says two children, ages 5 and 7, witnessed the fight.

Neither of the women involved wanted charges to be filed, but because of the seriousness of their injuries, officers arrested Lynn.
