Homecoming Royalty Crowned Friday Night

(UNDATED) - Alexa Bailey was crowned Bedford North Lawrence High School homecoming queen during halftime of the Stars' game against the Seymour Owls. Bristol Anderson was named homecoming king.

The Stars defeated Seymour 41 to 21.

Nisha Patel, a senior at Mitchell High School and daughter of Usha and Bhogilal Patel, was named homecoming queen. Jeremy Johnson, a senior at MHS and son of Mark Johnson and Theresa Scholl, was named homecoming king. Paige Courtwright, a sophomore at MHS and daughter of Jim and Stephanie Courtwright, was named homecoming princess.

The Bluejackets fought back against the Crawford County Wolfpack. The Wolfpack controlled the first half, but the Bluejackets broke them down in the second half to win 25-13 Friday night.
