(LINTON) - Indiana Elite, one of the Nation’s largest and most successful youth basketball programs, will now have a presence in Greene County as a new team is being organized in Linton.
Last season, Indiana Elite had over 75 basketball teams all over the State of Indiana and the organization continues to produce many of the Nation's top collegiate and NBA players including: Cody Zeller, Eric Gordon, and Yogi Ferrell.
The organization's mission is to promote the continued development of young players as it relates to fundamentals of basketball, sportsmanship and athletic competition.
"We are extremely excited to be a part of one of the most prestigious basketball programs in the Country," says Coach Jay Smith. "Our players will be building lifelong skills that extend far beyond the basketball court."
Open tryouts for the 2015 Spring/Summer travel season will be held on September 20th at the newly-renovated Pleasantville gym in Pleasantville, Indiana. Tryouts are open to all boys in grades 4 through 11.
Session Schedule:
Each session will last approximately an hour and a half.
