Enrollment Down At Medora Community Schools

Last updated on Wednesday, September 3, 2014

(MEDORA) - The interim superintendent of Medora Community Schools had been on the job only a short time when he had to deliver some bad news to his bosses.

Enrollment was down by 19 students the last week of August and that translates into a potential deficit of $177,221 in the 2015 general fund budget.

Superintendent Roger Bane, however, told school board members that they might not want to get too concerned about the potential shortfall until December.
