(GREENE CO.) - Starting next Wednesday, Duke Energy contractors will be trimming trees and vegetation around transmission lines throughout the county.
Greene County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Major Mike Hasler explained that, in some cases, the contractors may use low flying helicopters.
The sheriff's department typically receives phone calls from concerned citizens when low flying aircrafts are spotted, but that there is no cause for concern.
The trimming will take place between Wednesday and Sunday, Sept. 28.
