(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are investigating two reported sexual assaults.
The first was reported at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday when a 13-year-old girl reported she was molested by a male acquaintance at a south side residence. The girl told police the assault happened in August.
The second sexual assault was reported at 8:36 p.m. when officers received a call from IU Health Bloomington Hospital officials saying they were treating a 19-year-old male who says he was sexually assaulted by a male acquaintance.
Police have scheduling a second interview with the man.
Both cases remain under investigation.
