(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he crashed his vehicle into a tree on Dunn Bridge Road Friday night.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig, officers were called to the 1700 block of Dunn Bridge Road at 11:30 p.m. after a report that a vehicle had left the road way and struck a tree.
When officers arrived they found 43-year-old Michael Heatley of Bedford attempting to leave the area.
Heatley, who was intoxicated, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .15 or greater and OWI endangerment.
