Attorney General Greg Zoeller To Speak To Lawrence Co. 8th Graders

(UNDATED) - Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller will be in Lawrence County on Tuesday to speak to 8th grade students about the U.S.constitution.

Zoeller will speak at Shawswick Middle School at 10 a.m., Bedford Middle School at Noon and at Oolitic Middle School at 2 p.m.

September 17 is Constitution Days.

On September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the Constitution.

Government officials and the Bedford Noon Lions Club is encouraging all Americans to observe this important day in our nation's history.

The Noon Lions Club, who is sponsoring Zoeller's visit, will be handing out Constitution booklets to all of the eighth grade students.
