(BLOOMINGTON) - A 21-year-old woman reported she had been raped at an apartment complex on Bloomington’s north side.
The woman reported she was sexually assaulted by a 40-year-old and 28 year old man after she had left a party at 3:45 Thursday morning.
Bloomington Police Sgt. Joe Crider says the she told police she had left a party and became separated from her friend. She then met a 40-year-old man and a 28-year-old man at an apartment complex on the north side of town, where they allegedly raped her.
After the rape, the woman called a friend and was picked up from the apartment complex. She then called police and was taken to IU Health Hospital to complete a rape kit.
The 40-year-old man was questioned and released. No charges have been filed at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
