(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County police were called to the 200 block of Middle Avenue early Wednesday morning after a report of a domestic fight and a woman being battered.
When police arrived the woman told police she had fell and that is how she was injured.
During their investigation police determined the woman was wanted on a warrant in Monroe County and arrested 34-year-old Sonya Bundy.
As they were transporting Bundy to the Monroe County jail she changed her story saying she was injured during the fight. Police advised Bundy that when she was released from jail to come to the station and file a battery report if she wanted to press charges.
