Volunteers Needed To Drive Van To Transport Vets To Hospitals

Last updated on Tuesday, August 19, 2014

(ORANGE CO.) - The Orange County Veteran’s Van is in need of volunteer drivers transporting the county’s veterans to the New Albany Clinic and Louisville VA Hospital.

This is a free service for the veterans.

However, if a quota of drivers is not met, the service will be discontinued, leaving many veterans with no transportation to medical treatment and service.

Officials are looking for volunteers to help. If you are retired or have some time to help out and would be willing to drive the van, call Jessee at 723-5557.
