(BEDFORD) - Two men were injured with one suffering serious injuries after they were hit by a Model T Saturday in the parking lot of Tractor Supply.
According to a Bedford police report, 59-year-old Bill Hottell of Bedford complained of abdomen and pelvic pain and suffered possible internal injuries. He was flown by helicopter to an Indianapolis Hospital for treatment.
75-year-old Jack Dixon of Tentron, FL., the owner of the Model T, complained of knee, lower leg and foot pain. He refused medical treatment.
According to a police report, officers were called to the parking lot of Tractor Supply on 16th Street at 3:08 p.m. Saturday.
According to police, Dixon had jump-started the Model T and when the vehicle started, it rolled forward - no one was inside the vehicle.
Dixon and Hottell then attempted to stop the moving vehicle, but both men went to the ground and the car ran over them.
The Model T stopped after striking the corner of a 2005 Lincoln owned by Thomas Dusard of Bedford.
