(SHOALS) - Two people were arrested Monday after Martin County officers were called to a burglary at National Gypsum.

According to a press release, officers were called to the plant at 8 a.m. after an employee reported the burglary.

After a lengthy investigation by Deputy Keith Keller and Sheriff Rob Street and Indiana State Police technicians officers were able to make the arrests.

Officers arrested 30-year-old Justin Tolbert, of Williams and 45-year-old Sonya Lagel, of Bedford.

Both are being held in the Martin County Jail.

Police say the burglary is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Martin County Sheriff's Department.
