(BEDFORD) - Anyone looking for a park-like place close to downtown to sit in the shade and enjoy a beautiful day need look no further than the Bedford Public Library grounds.
Four benches and two red Adirondack chairs provide seating in two separate areas on the library's south lawn. Beautiful flowers, a bubbling rock fountain, statuary, birdfeeders, and meticulously kept landscaping provide a serene atmosphere for reading or contemplation.
Dinosaur crafts and activities are available from Monday through Sunday. Children may craft big-footed dinosaurs or sea-serpent dinosaurs using cardboard tubes and construction paper. Coloring sheets and other activities are also available.
