September Is National Library Card Sign-Up Month

(BEDFORD) - September is national library card sign-up month.

Though a library card is easy to obtain, it is one of the most valuable cards to own. A library card provides access to a world of information and services.

To obtain a library card, visit the Bedford Public Library on K Street.

Animals are in focus for the free crafts this week at the Bedford Public Library.

Digital downloads

Hundreds of downloadable or streaming movies are available through Overdrive and Hoopla from the library website at www.bedlib.org.

Among hoopla's currently popular titles are "ET, the Extraterrestrial," "World's Greatest Dad" starring Robin Williams, "In Good Company" starring Topher Grace, "The King's Speech" with Colin Firth and "Lego: the Adventures of Clutch Powers."
