Mitchell Community Schools On Two Hour Delay, Boil Order Issued

(MITCHELL) - Mitchell Community Schools are on a two hour delay after a large water main break at Meridian Road and Hancock Avenue.

A boil order has also been issued.

The order is in effect for the area north of Hancock Ave between Rabbitsville and Meridian Rd. This area includes,

Lakeside Estates, North Side Estates and Persimmon Park Apartments.

According to the water utility, customers should:

Bring all water to a boil and let it boil vigorously for two minutes. Let it cool before using.
Or use bottled water while the order is in effect.
Pre-boiled or bottled water should be used for all food preparation, drinking, brushing teeth, washing vegetables or dishes and so on.
