(ODON) - An Odon man was flown by helicopter to St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville following an accident early Wednesday morning.
Police say 33-year-old Joe T. Farthing II was traveling south on West Street when his car ran off the side of the road, overturning several times before coming to rest on its top.
Deputies, along with firefighters, freed Farthing from the wreckage.
Farthing, who complained of neck pain, was taken first to Daviess Community Hospital and then to St. Mary's by AirEvac helicopter. Farthing was treated and released.
Police say Farthing blew a .26 during a portable breath test. He is now facing charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
