Man Arrested After Climbing Through Window Of Ex-Wife's Home

(LINTON) - 46-year-old Joseph Buchanan of Jasonville was arrested after the allegedly climbed through the window of his ex-wife's home Tuesday night.

The woman called Linton Police and reported, Buchanan had broke into her trailer in Linton and was sitting on her couch.

When police arrived shortly after 9:30 p.m. they saw Buchanan leaving the trailer and walking toward the road. Buchanan told police he had been talking with his ex all day and went to the home thinking they might be able to work things out.

Buchanan told police he found the door locked so climbed through the window and fell asleep on the couch.

His ex-wife told police the two had been talking, but she stressed that she told Buchanan he could not come to her home.

Buchanan was arrested on charges of residential entry.
