Lawrence County Police Investigating Theft From Homes

(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police are investigating the theft of several items from three homes.

The first theft was reported at 12:01 p.m. Sunday.

Sheriff Sam Craig says officers were called to a home in the 30 block of Timber Circle.

"Several car and motor parts were taken from the trailer," Craig says.

The second theft was reported at 1:52 p.m. from a home in the 4900 block of U.S. 50 East.

The resident reported several items were taken including a tiller, stove and a wrought iron fence.

A third report was received just before 4 p.m. in the 3400 block of Old Ind. 37 in Judah.

The resident reported a HDMI cable was stolen.

Sheriff Craig believes the items were taken for scrap.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Sheriff's Department.
