Jackson County Hogs Place Second And Third In World's Largest Hog Contest

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two hogs from Jackson County competed in the World’s Largest Hog contest Aug. 1 at the Indiana State Fair.

A&H Showpigs, owned by Dustin Allman and Samantha Hulls of Crothersville, placed second with an 888-pound hog named Junior, and Terry Mellencamp and Trenton Collins, both of Dudleytown, placed third with their 567-pound hog named Mikey.

Spotosaurus Rex, from Carroll County, weighed in at 1,007 pounds to claim the title of World's Largest Male Hog at the fair.
