(GREENE CO.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closing of Black Ankle Road or Greene County Road 600 East, approximately 0.7 miles south of the Mineral-Koleen Road beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2.
The road will be closed for two to three months in conjunction with the I-69 project.
During that time, traffic will not be able to travel between Mineral-Koleen Road and Smith Road (CR 450S).
However, local users of the road will have another alternative. A low-speed gravel runaround of the area will be open to school buses, residents in the immediate area and emergency vehicle.
