(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University Police are investigating an incident at the Sigma Nu fraternity house last week in which a member trying to keep a group of men out of the house was hit with a bottle and required stitches.

According to IUPD spokesman Lt. Craig Munroe, a group of about nine men came to the door about 1:30 a.m. Friday and tried to enter the house at 1015 N. Jordan Ave.

Fraternity members kept them out and a skirmish ensued.
