(MITCHELL) - The 68th Annual Persimmon Festival Parade is set for Saturday, September 27.
Parade entry forms are available from Gary Rayhill, Parade Chairman or at the Mitchell Chamber of Commerce Office, on Main Street and various businesses in town.

Applications for the Little and Junior Miss contests are still available at the Chamber Office. The Mini-Miss contest is full.
Completed applications must be mailed to Candi Derst, Chairman at P.O. Box 248, Mitchell, IN 47446. For information, call Candi at 865-6186.
Applications for the Persimmon Festival Queen contest are available at the Chamber Office and at Mitchell High School.
Completed applications must be returned to the Mitchell Chamber Office, 1494 West Main Street in Mitchell. For information, call Jodi Mundy at 583-6119 or Jenny Day at 545-9134.
Festival books are available at the Chamber office.
