(BEDFORD) - Bedford Firefighters were called to the Lawrence County Jail Sunday afternoon after officers noticed a strong odor of smoke in the squad room.
"Officers smelled something hot," Craig says. "So they called the fire department."
Firefighters found no fire.
"We also called in our maintenance personnel to check thing out to make sure there wasn't a problem." Craig added.
