(MARTINSVILLE) - A construction worker who was pouring concrete for a new home in Painted Hills died Thursday after coming into contact with a high-voltage electrical line.

According to Morgan County Deputy Coroner Ted Lang, 57-year-old Timothy Toth of Edinburgh was operating the boom on the concrete mixer when he came into contact with the 7,200-volt line.

Toth, the owner of Cherokee Concrete Pumping in Edinburg, was pouring concrete for new construction on West Point Court when the incident happened.

Toth was transported to Indiana University Health Morgan Hospital, where he later died.

A representative from SCI REMC, who has the electrical lines in the development, said the incident is under investigation by the company.
