Last updated on Wednesday, July 16, 2014

(DUBOIS CO) - 20-year-old Carlisha Dooley of Fredinand was sentenced to 7 years in prison in connection with the December 2013 crash that took the lives of 20-year-old Jessica Morgan of Birdseye and 28-year-old Eric Bureau of Dale.

The wreck happened east of the Bretzville Junction on State Road 64.

Police say Dooley was speeding when she lost control of her SUV and hit a guardrail which caused the vehicle to roll down an embankment and crashed into a tree.

Morgan and Bureau, who were passengers in the vehicle, died at the scene.

Authorities say Dooley was intoxicated at the time of the wreck and was arrested on two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death, two counts of reckless homicide, and one count of driving while her driver's license was suspended.

After she is released from prison, Dooley will serve two years of supervised probation.
