(BEDFORD) - A Springville man was arrested Sunday on a warrant for battery resulting in bodily injury after he alleged struck a woman with a vehicle.
24-year-old Marc Korvela was also charged with possession of marijuana during his arrest.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Korvela is also facing charges of criminal recklessness and criminal mischief.
According to the affidavit, Korvela is accused of running into the woman with his vehicle on June 16. The woman suffered pain and told police at the time of the incident that she would seek medical treatment.
Korvela remains in jail this morning on a $1,060 bond.
