Seymour Woman Arrested On Welfare Fraud Charges

(SEYMOUR) - A Seymour woman accused of receiving $16,264 in unemployment benefits at the same time she was working for an automobile parts manufacturer has been arrested.

31-year-old Casey N. McCoy is facing felony charges of theft and welfare fraud as the result of a six-month investigation, according to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.

She was arrested Sunday by county officer Scott Davis and Holli Camp, an investigator with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
