Sex Offender Arrested

(HAUBSTADT) - A sex offender was arrested in Gibson County for failing to register.

59-year-old Ronald Preston of South Carolina had been living at a Gibson County campground for a few weeks, but had not registered as a sex offender.

Officers spoke with him and learned he had no documentation recording his address.

Preston was also wanted on six warrants from Virginia.
