(BLOOMINGTON) - The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating recent complaints about a phone scam involving a suspect who identifies himself as a deputy and demands payment in lieu of serving an arrest warrant.
The sheriff's office has received at least four complaints about this scam last week.
Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Sheriff's Department.
