(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County police recovered a stolen vehicle in East Oolitic, Monday night.
Officers received a report from the vehicle owner at 11:14 p.m.
He told police his car was stolen from his home in the 400 block of Old Ind. 158 by a 14-year-old boy he has guardianship of.
The boy was also reported as a runaway.
The car was found on Meridian Street in East Oolitic and returned to the owner.
The boy was not found. Sheriff Sam Craig says police are searching for the teen and the incident is under investigation.
