Man Lands In Jail After Stabbing

(WASHINGTON) - A Washington man was arrested and is faces multiple felony charges after being accused of taking part in the beating and stabbing of another man.

31-year-old Eric Logston of Washington was arrested on a warrant charging him with battery resulting in serious bodily injury and battery with a deadly weapon.

According to a probable cause affidavit, on May 21, Larry Donnell Tables Saulsberry of Washington was walking near Greenwood Apartments in the city's west end when he was attacked by two women and Logston. Saulsberry claimed the group knocked him down, cut his throat with a box cutter and that Logston stabbed him in the shoulder.

Logston appeared in Daviess Superior Court Thursday and entered a plea of not guilty. A jury trial was set for November 18.

He is being held in the Daviess County Jail on $100,000 bond.
