(BEDFORD) - Because of weather conditions, Mount Pleasant Road will be closed today from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. for paving.
On Thursday, crews will close Norman Road from U.S. 50 to the county line for paving from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
No traffic will be allowed through.
Leatherwood Road from Brown Station Road to Standish Steel Road will be closed for paving on Friday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
No traffic will be allowed through.
County Highway officials have closed the bridge on Jasper McKeaigg Road after bridge inspectors found the truss on the bridge is deteriorating.
Lawrence County Highway Superintendent David Holmes says the bridge will be closed until this fall, while officials review their options to repair the damage.
