(GREENE CO.) - If you’re interested in signing your child up for the Little Miss and Mister Greene County pageant or the annual baby contest, your time to register is running out.
The Greene County Daily World reports that the baby contest will be at 6 p.m. Monday, July 14.
The deadline to register your baby is 4 p.m. July 14. The Little Miss and Mister contest will take place at 6 p.m. July 15. The deadline to register is noon that same day. Both events will be held in the Commercial Building.
The baby contest, sponsored by Learn A Lot Daycare in Jasonville, is open to babies up to 24 months. There is a $5 entry fee.
The Little Miss and Mister contest, sponsored by Tiny Tykes Daycare in Bloomfield and Scotland, is open to youngsters ages 4 to 6 who have yet to enter first grade.
During the pageant, contestants will walk across stage and 'model' for the judges and audience. The event emcee will briefly chat with the contestants based upon profile information submitted prior to the contest.
Applications for both contests are available on their website, www.gcdailyworld.com or can be picked up at the Purdue Cooperative Extension Office, located at the Greene County Fairgrounds.
