(VALLONIA) - A fish fry to benefit the Joe Jackson Hotel Restoration project will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Whistle Stop at 2379 S. Main St. in Vallonia.
Fish dinners will be available for $7; sandwiches are $4.50.
Proceeds will benefit the hotel at 2420 S. Main St. It was built in 1914 and is listed on the federal and state registers of historic places.
Fish fries are conducted on the second Saturday of each month during warm-weather months.
