(LINTON) - A Linton man was able to get out of his vehicle and get to the shore after his car plunged into Wampler Lake late Monday night.
According to a Greene County Police report, 34-year-old Anthony Brenton was traveling south on County Road 1500 in a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander when he swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle, ran off the roadway and into Wampler Lake.
Brenton was able to get out of the vehicle and swim to shore. But the vehicle sank.
