Last updated on Wednesday, July 30, 2014

(DAVIESS CO.) - A Daviess County woman was arrested in Jasper on drug charges on Friday.

A Dubois County narcotics officer received a complaint that the store manager at the Verizon Wireless store at 3780 North Newton Street in Jasper, was dealing drugs out of the business.

Daviess County police arrested 45-year-old Jennifer Sellers of Elnora at about 9 a.m. Friday on a warrant for possession of meth, legend prescription drugs, marijuana, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia. She was then booked into the Dubois County Jail.

Sellers was manager the Verizon Wireless store until June 30 when the Dubois County Sheriff's Department narcotics officer, an Indiana State Police K-9, and a Jasper police officer went to her place of employment to investigate alleged drug activity.

Officers also uncovered some unusual pseudo-ephedrine purchases by other individuals associated with Sellers at the business.

When officers went to the business at about 2 p.m. on June 30, they spoke with Sellers and she admitted to possessing a pipe. She then gave officers permission to search her vehicle. During the search, they found meth, a large amount of pills, marijuana and other substances. She was not arrested at that time due to the on-going investigation.
