Cops Find Pound Of Meth And $9K During Drug Bust

(SCOTTSBURG) - Thursday morning detectives from the Indiana State Police with assistance of U.S. Postal Inspectors, Federal Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms Agents and officers from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and Salem City Police Department, arrested two individuals on drug charges.

Arrested were 38-year-old Robert E. Lee and Angela Lee, both of Scottsburg, on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance. More charges are pending.

Detectives began their investigation after the Indiana State Police received a tip that a large amount of meth was being delivered to at home on East State Road 56 near Scottsburg.

Officers arrested Angela at the home and arrested her and recovered more than a pound of meth. They then went to Angela's home on Bellevue Drive and arrested Angela's brother Robert. There officers seized more than $9,000 in cash and more meth.
