Limestone Health Opioid Treatment Centers Bloomington Open House

(BLOOMINGTON) – An Open House will be held at the Bloomington Center, located at 2100 Liberty Drive, on Wednesday, April 10, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.


Members of the community and treatment providers will be able to tour the facility and learn more about the life-changing treatment provided at Limestone Health.
Tony Toomer, Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Manager for the Office of Addiction and Forensic Services FSSA-Division of Mental Health and Addiction, will be in attendance. Mr. Toomer and Limestone Health staff members will be available to answer questions regarding the opioid crisis in Indiana and the expanding treatment options available to the community.
Limestone Health is now accepting Medicaid patients at their Lafayette and Bloomington, Indiana clinics, in addition to accepting most major insurances. This decision aligns with Limestone Health’s primary goal, which is to provide affordable and accessible healthcare to those who are suffering from addiction.
As of October 2018, Indiana has 1,449,920 individuals enrolled in Medicaid and Healthy Indiana Plans — a net increase of 29.38 percent since the first open enrollment period in October 2013.
Utilizing FDA-approved medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, clinical professionals at the centers provide medical evaluations and specialized medication-assisted treatment to individuals with substance use disorder.
The Bloomington center, located at 2100 Liberty Drive, is open Monday – Friday: 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with medication dispensed until 11:30, Saturday 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., and Sunday 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The Lafayette center, located at 4705 Meijer Court, is open Monday – Friday: 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with medication dispensed until 11:30 a.m., Saturday 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., and Sunday 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Both locations provide walk-in assessments from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Monday through Friday or assessments can be scheduled via phone in Lafayette at 765-701-6060 and in Bloomington at 812-727-6700.
