(ORANGE CO.) - Volunteers will be firing up the grills at Paoli Christian Church on June 7 for the annual WHAS Crusade for Children Orange County Barbecue.
The first meals are expected to be ready by 10 a.m. Meals will be served inside the church, and diners can also stop by to grab some carry-out meals. (Donors who have ordered pork loins will be able to pick them up before serving starts that morning.)
"It's for the kids in Orange County," Joe Summers explained.
As has been reported many times through the years, the local programs supported by the Crusade always get more money than the barbecue, gospel sings and other events raise. If the local efforts cease, Summers stresses, so will the assistance.
