(WASHINGTON CO.) - A Washington County man was arrested after Indiana State Police say he did drugs with his child.

On March 18, a detective from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg was contacted by the Washington County Department of Child Services in reference to 37-year-old Paul Amburgey allegedly providing a controlled substance to his juvenile child.

Police also learned that Amburgey was using the drug with the child.

After an investigation, Amburgey was arrested on a warrant for child neglect, a Class D felony.

He was arrested without incident and taken to the Washington County Jail.
