According to police Weldon was traveling west on Ridge road when the 1993 GM Jimmy he was driving went off the right side of the road and hit a tree head-on. The vehicle then went back onto the road and overturned multiple times.
Weldon suffered abrasions to his head. His passengers 25-year-old Sara Eds, of 1630 Ridge Rd., suffered abrasions and complained of pain and 47-year-old Wilam Stevens, of 1630 Ridge Rd., suffered abrasions and complained of pain.
